CWL Safety system – Façade Ladder

CWL Safety System, Safety Rail With a safety rail on a façade ladder, you can move freely and be continuously anchored with personal fall protection equipment. Each continuous length is approved for anchoring two people at the same time. The safety rail is mounted on brackets at the side of the façade ladder and extended along the entire length. Mounting on the right or left side of the ladder is optional. Connection from the façade ladder can be added. The safety rail runner automatically follows the fall arrest on ascent, and passes it on descent with a slight pull on the safety line. In case of a fall, the runner locks to the rail regardless of the roof slope. A built-in fall arrester triggers to reduce strain on the person and the roof. At the roof foot and on steep roofs, the safety rail is installed with tightly spaced fall arrests; on flat roofs, the rail is used with sparsely spaced drop stops. The system is tested and approved of RISE for use by 2 people simultaneously according to the harmonised European standard CE EN 516 class 2.
